The Council owns a number of sites across the Borough and is keen to make best use of them to enhance the local environment, support local communities, and respond to local needs. A small number of sites are considered suitable for new homes, especially for rent, and these are being developed by the team.

Bushloe House

The Council is in the process of relocating its offices to Brocks Hill Country Park. The Council office, Bushloe House, will be sold with the proceeds invested into the renovation of Brocks Hill. This relocation provides the Council with an opportunity to move to a modern building at the heart of the Borough, and allow the historic Bushloe House to be refurbished in a sympathetic manner.

Brocks Hill

The Council has now moved its offices to the former Visitors Centre in the heart of Brocks Hill Country Park. The former offices at Bushloe House has now been closed and is in the process of being sold.

More information on the Brocks Hill Redevelopment can be found on the main council website.

Horsewell Lane

The Council is looking at options to bring forward a site at Horsewell Lane, made available through the construction of the new pavilion. As the project progress we will link information here.

Oadby Pool

The Former Oadby Swimming Pool site in Oadby is now under offer. In the coming months, the Council will be consulting local residents and the Oadby Bowling Club on how the proceeds of the sale will be invested in Ellis Park to create a brand new Community Hub in order to maximise the benefits to the local community.
