Just a few miles southeast of Leicester city centre, Oadby town centre serves the local community and is located adjacent to the A6. Centred on 'The Parade' it provides a range of shops and services including banking, hairdressers, food shopping and the local library. It is served by a number of car parks which include EV charging facilities.
To the north of Oadby town centre and just in the Borough is Leicester Racecourse, whilst to the east are the University of Leicester buildings including the botanical gardens. The Leicester Tigers training ground, Brocks Hill Country Park and Parklands Leisure Centre sit side by side to the south of the town centre but within easy walking distance.
There are around 24,000 residents with new housing developments being brought forward to the east.
